Job Description

Job Title: Community and Education Coordinator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Community and Education Coordinator to join our team at Disability Arts. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and administering various community arts projects, including the Matinee Idols program, and providing administrative support to the Education and Community Director.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and administer community arts projects, including the Matinee Idols program
  • Provide administrative support to the Education and Community Director
  • Support the development and implementation of community outreach programs
  • Assist with the coordination of community events and workshops
  • Manage and maintain departmental databases and records
  • Contribute to the development of marketing and promotional materials for community programs
  • Provide administrative support for community engagement initiatives
  • Monitor and report on program outcomes and evaluation

Requirements:

  • Experience in community arts programming and administration
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database management
  • Experience with budget management and financial reporting
  • Knowledge of best practices in community arts and education

Working Conditions:
