Help set the strategic direction of The Myton Hospices as Trustee using your Finance experience, enabling Myton to support even more people and sustainably increase our impact.

Myton cares for people aged 18+ living with a life-limiting illness, and their families.

We are the only provider of Hospice Beds in Coventry & Warwickshire and supported 2000 people last year in our 3 hospices, via our patient & family support services and in the community.

We are not the NHS, we are a Charity and rely on the support of people like you.

We are looking for people with a real passion for increasing access to hospice care to join our Charity as Trustees.


With your finance specialism, you will provide input to ensure sound financial stewardship, help build confidence in relation to Charity Commission regulation, offer insights relating to income generation, and bring experience of strategic financial planning.

You will offer informal counsel and professional challenge to SLT, building particular relationships with the Director of Finance & Facilities, and the Director of Income Generation.

After induction and training you will also become the Chair of our Finance & Audit Committee.


All our Board of Trustees have a role in giving clear strategic direction to Myton, setting overall policy, defining goals and targets and evaluating performance.

Trustees help safeguard our good name and values, ensure Myton operates efficiently and viably, and help ensure proper investment and use of its funds.

You will need to attend quarterly Board and sub-committee meetings- usually held early evening, plus occasional day time strategy and training events.

You will act as an ambassador for Myton, actively supporting fundraising and volunteering activities and championing Equity, Diversity and Inclusion.
