This SEN school in Bedford is looking is looking for SEN Psychology and Criminology Graduates to provide first class support to children with complex social, emotional and mental health needs, ADHD, and communication difficulties, Down syndrome and some speech, language and communication needs.

You will be working closely with the clinical team within the Luton school allowing you to develop your skills through the education and training.

Job Title: Mental Health Assistant

Location: Bedford

Salary Scale: £85-£90 per day

Contract type: Long Term Contract, 5 days a week, 8:30 - 16:30

This is an outstanding opportunity for an individual with previous SEN experience OR a Graduate with a keen interest in this area of work within Bedford.

It is the perfect position for someone in search of hands-on experience to develop their education and training with social, emotional mental health needs. If you're looking for a career in youth work then this opportunity is not to be missed.

What is required?

An Undergraduate Degree (preferable) and/or previous SEN experience, ideal for Criminology and Psychology Graduates

An interest in mental health and Autism

Knowledge, keen interest or understanding of the range of different types of learning and behavioural needs (SEMH elements of the provision)
