Swimming Instructor

The Bedford College Group is seeking a dedicated and experienced Swimming Teacher to join our dynamic team at the Bedford campus.

As a Swimming Teacher, you will play a vital role in fostering a positive and supportive learning environment for students of all ages and abilities. Your primary responsibility will be to guide and instruct individuals in developing essential swimming techniques and skills, while ensuring their safety and well-being throughout the process.

• Provide comprehensive instruction and guidance to students on various swimming techniques and water safety practices.
• Create engaging and effective lesson plans tailored to individual student needs and skill levels.
• Maintain a safe and hygienic learning environment, adhering to all relevant health and safety protocols.
• Foster a positive and encouraging atmosphere that promotes confidence and enjoyment in the water.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues and support staff to ensure a seamless learning experience for students.

• Possess a Level 2 Swimming Teacher qualification or equivalent.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of health and safety procedures in aquatic environments.
• Exhibit excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
