Prospectus is excited to partner with a global consultancy dedicated to sustainable development, to recruit a Senior Programme Specialist – Contracts & Compliance (FCDO) for a 12-month maternity cover.

This is a fixed-term position that plays a critical role in supporting the organisation's programme management and contract functions.


In this key position, you will ensure the organisation meets all client and corporate compliance requirements, with a particular emphasis on the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO).

You will be responsible for negotiating contracts and subcontracts, offering expertise in funds management, and establishing templates, policies, and processes to enhance project funds management practices.

Additionally, you will lead the annual code of conduct declaration reporting process and manage the associated platform, ensuring all divisions comply with FCDO standards.

Collaborating closely with your team, you will review, analyse, and evaluate project management tools and processes, as well as assess existing project performance systems for their effectiveness in meeting the needs of UK clients.

We seek a seasoned International Development Programme professional with in-depth knowledge of the FCDO alongside strong project management capabilities.

Success in this role requires substantial experience in contractual and financial management across various contract and subcontract types, including cost reimbursement, time-and-materials, fixed price, umbrella, and performance-based contracts.
