Role Profile

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our client's FMCG production facility, located in Cannock. Shift pattern will be 8am to 4.30pm Mon to Fri

The ideal candidate should have extensive knowledge of maintenance, repair and installation processes, as well as excellent problem-solving skills.

The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for performing maintenance, repairs and installation of machinery, equipment and facilities.

You will be expected to troubleshoot problems, inspect and evaluate the condition of machines and equipment, and conduct regular maintenance activities.

You must be able to identify and repair any mechanical and some electrical systems. You will also be required to test installations and systems for safety, accuracy and quality.

Further duties include ensuring that all safety regulations are followed, and that all repair and maintenance activities are completed in a timely manner.

You will also be responsible for liaising with suppliers and contractors, and ordering spare parts as needed.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer in a manufacturing production environment

Good knowledge of mechanical, electrical systems

Experience in troubleshooting and problem-solving

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics

Good verbal and written communication skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Good time management and organisational skills

A valid driving license
