Luton, Luton, United Kingdom Leaders in Care Full time

Stable Service | Manageable Caseload | Hybrid | A Different Approach to Agency

Tired of the same old? Looking for a change to kickstart your 2024?

Leaders in Care are working with a highly regarded local authority in the North East London area, on a great opportunity for an expreienced children's social worker to join the Children with Disabilities team, with a very competitive pay rate of £39 per hour.

The team is a small one, but with a strong reputation for stability, with vacancies rarely cropping up within the service. Funding has recently been approved to ensure peace of mind with a 6 monthly contract from the off – giving you time to settle in and focus on building relationships with the the children and families involved in the service, as well as the team around you.

The CwD service is very stable, so you can expect a manageable workload, with cases split evenly across the service. You will also become a part of a very close knit team who have all been a part of the service for extended periods of time.

This is a great opportunity to work with an outstanding rated council, as per their last Ofsted report. Their aim is to maintain this in the next review and are looking for an experienced CwD social worker to be part of their journey in helping provide the bst care to all children and families involved in the service to ensure this.

As this is a statutory role, you do require a social work qualification & registration to Social Work England.
