**About Us:** Charles Hunter Associates is a leading recruitment agency specializing in social work and childcare placements.

**Job Summary:** We are seeking an experienced Supervising Social Worker to join our client's Therapeutic Fostering Agency in the Bedfordshire region. As a Supervising Social Worker, you will be responsible for carrying a caseload of up to 8 foster carers and providing support and guidance to help them provide a stable and nurturing environment for children in their care.

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement Support Plans to meet the needs of foster carers and children
  • Conduct thorough Assessments to ensure the suitability of foster carers
  • Supervise and support foster carers to ensure they are providing a safe and stable environment for children
  • Work on an out-of-hours rota to provide emergency support to foster carers and children

**Requirements:

  • Experience as a Supervising Social Worker in a Fostering Team, preferably in an Independent Fostering Agency or Therapeutic Fostering Agency
  • Strong knowledge of child care legislation and policies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
