Duty Manager - About you
Confidence in dealing with queries from guests, managers and colleagues
Enjoy making fast paced decisions with accuracy and care
Previous experience in reception at supervisory level minimum
Drive and passion to seek out opportunities to go above and beyond for our guests
Enthusiasm and passion for your work and communication with colleagues and adept at multi-tasking
A keen eye for detail, organisational skills and a flexible attitude
Aim of the Duty Manager role
To ensure the well-being of all guests during their time at the hotel and maintaining a high level of host presence throughout to ensure the overall smooth running of the hotel at all times when on duty.
Key responsibilities of the Duty Manager:
Show passion for your guests' experience by attending daily briefings to learn about special occasions, requirements and VIP guests
To take ownership in dealing with a varied day from breakfast to busy checkouts
Ensuring all guests receive prompt service and guidance relating to their stay
Be confident in handling guest requirements, special requests and complaints
Awareness of all H&S requirements, including fire marshal duties
Be flexible in covering all departments and offer support regarding the team to ensure they are equipped for service
Take ownership in the smooth running of all departments during your shift
Cover reception/ night shifts if required
