Switchgear Field Service Engineer

As a Field Service Engineer, your main responsibility will be to ensure the safe and efficient execution of service projects.

You will focus on tasks related to servicing, upgrading, and extending the lifespan of switchgear and ancillary equipment at various locations in the UK and internationally, including offshore and marine environments.


Role Overview:

  • Provide technical guidance and support to clients.
  • Create quotations for servicerelated tasks.
  • Carry out switchgear maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
  • Participate in the oncall service when necessary.

Requirements:

  • Completion of an electrical engineering apprenticeship.
  • Minimum ONC level qualification in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in technical reporting and electrical switchgear.
  • Preferably, experience in offshore or marine environments.
