The Global Mobility Specialist is an integral part of Latham's Global Mobility team. This role will be responsible for managing the end-to-end support provided to international assignees, permanent transferees, and their families in line with firm policies. This role will be located in our London office. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence, and is a 12-month fixed term contract.

Other key responsibilities include:

Managing assignment and transfer relocation expenses by tracking and approving allowances to ensure that they are in compliance with assignment letters and firm policies; gathering documentation from the assignee which supports the allowance to be paidAssessing the immigration requirements per country and initiating the appropriate immigration vendor, if requiredDetermining the amount of income to be imputed into the assignee's income based on monthly general ledger reports and coordinating payment with payroll; reviewing the journal entries to ensure accuracyConsolidating and reconciling the general ledger and expatriate tax account on a quarterly basis to ensure accuracyMaintaining productive relationships with external third-party vendors, ensuring high performance, excellent service delivery, and invoicing accuracy

Demonstrate well-developed, professional interpersonal skills, and the ability to interact effectively with people at all organisational levels of the firmPossess the ability to work both independently and in a team environment with a focus on delivering excellent customer-serviceExhibit the organisational skills needed to manage time well, prioritise effectively, and handle multiple deadlines

And have:

Experience of working within an in-house Global Mobility teamKnowledge of UK immigrationA Bachelor's degree or an equivalent
