Role: Strategy & Commercial Lead

Duration: 12/08/2024 to 31/03/ Months - Potential for Extension

Location / Hybrid Requirements: London, BTHQ One Braham 1 Braham Street, Whitechapel - 3 Days per week onsite - 2 Days per week WFH - Flexibility in regard to remote working

Key accountabilities include:

  • Lead the go-to-market strategy incorporating partnership, investor, M&A and alternative revenue opportunities
  • Develop venture structure, operating model, and funding plan options
  • Lead business plan development including modelling financial statements, venture valuation, scenario, and risk analyses
  • Define, source, consolidate and confidently analyse large and disparate datasets to inform and validate modelling assumptions
  • Support continuous improvement of the site selection model and optimised charge point roll-out plan including brownfield (leveraging BT green cabinet estate) and greenfield sites
  • Support business development opportunities including proposition development, framework agreements, tender writing and contract negotiations with Local Authorities and partners
  • Lead investment processes, due diligence activity, internal and external fund raising

Candidate Background & Key Skills / Experience:

  • Confidence and experience talking to high level execs and CEOs & CFOs
  • Background of Strategy House / Strategy Consultancy - 3 /4 Years' experience
  • Ideal candidate would have come from a start-up / corporate background
  • Commercial due diligence experience
  • Experience working inside a Charge Point Operator (CPO)
