WHAT YOU'LL DO

Our ambition is to transform the Marketing and Communication (M&C) function – making it a truly metric driven function that enhances BCG's performance. As a critical member of the Global M&C Team, you will work with the Global M&C Transformation Senior Director/Director and M&C leadership to provide program management, executional support and change management to major initiatives critical to enabling our change agenda.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Work with the Global M&C Transformation Senior Director/Director and M&C leadership to define and implement major cross-functional initiatives and change management projects.
  • Assist in change management efforts for M&C-wide initiatives, independently plan and drive programs/projects of significant complexity
  • Run projects and meet milestones on time, provide status updates and reviews in line with agreed milestones
  • Collaborate with internal & external stakeholders to create a detailed project plan, drive assigned tasks to resolution by working with task owners, establish clear roles and responsibilities
  • Conduct research, gather and organize data from various internal and external sources, interviews, form hypotheses, analyze data, communicate findings in a structured manner (e.g., for functional baselining, competitive intelligence, etc.)
  • Organize, facilitate, and document project meetings, proactively identify dependencies & resolve issues between teams
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and minimize potential roadblocks
  • Manage day to day initiative reporting and conduct analysis on metrics and KPIs
  • Develop, assemble, and coordinate multi-channel internal communications
YOU'RE GOOD AT
You are a professional with proven analytical and coordination experience in a fast-paced, client-oriented environment, with strong interpersonal skills to build relationships throughout a highly matrixed organization.
  • Managing multiple complex initiatives in a global environment
  • Proactive, with demonstrated ability to identify, analyse, and solve problems
  • Performing data analysis, producing quantitative models, and interpreting data through a business and marketing lens to create recommendations
  • Structuring and storytelling, ability to take insights and tell a story through PowerPoint
  • Confident written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to prioritize, adapt and operate in a consistently changing environment
YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
  • Demonstrated experience using analytical skills to generate insights and inform strategy. Mastery of MS Excel required; Alteryx and Tableau strongly preferred
  • Previous consulting experience, including slide writing and analytics, strongly preferred
  • Strong customer service orientation with the ability to influence and drive change in a global matrixed organization and interacting with senior stakeholders within and outside the M&C function
  • Hands-on experience with project collaboration tools (e.g., SharePoint, Trello, Slack) and expertise with MS PowerPoint and Excel
  • Proven project management and coordination skills

At a minimum, you will have:

  • Min. of 2 years' experience in strategy consulting/professional/business services

Global M&C Transformation Senior Director/Director, BCG's Head of Marketing Operations, Chief Marketing Officer, Chief Communications Officer, Marketing Leadership Team, and the Functional teams within M&C (e.g. Finance and HR Business Partners and other parts of BCG, including the Practice Areas, the Regions and other Functions).
