We are seeking a motivated Director Regional Controller to join our European Finance team.

Responsibilities:

Analytical & Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, management reports, and financial analysis over business performance and trendsGeneral Ledger Accounting: Direct functions in EU (incl. A/R, A/P, FA, accruals & restructure provisions)Fixed Assets: oversee company assetsRisk Management: Identify financial & tax risks and opportunities within EU and present to managementCash Management: Oversee cash flow forecasting, liquidity & maintain banking relationships to optimize cash utilization and mitigate risksBudgeting & Forecast: Lead the financial planning process for EU, in alignment with corporate objectives and strategic initiativesInternal Controls: Ensure compliance with US-GAAP, SOX, and other (local) regulatory requirementsTax Compliance: Collaborate with corporate tax directors and advisors to ensure compliance with all tax regulations (incl. planning and reporting) in various EU tax regimesAudits: Provide support and facilitate local and international audit processesTeam: Lead and develop a team of finance professionals, guide, coach and support for high performance; cooperate with corporate BU and divisional controllersSpecial Projects: Provide info and work on special tasks given by the supervisor

BA in Financial/Controlling StudiesKnowledge and experience in US-GAAP, EU accounting policies & regulationsMinimum 10 yr. of experience in accounting and financial reporting in international production companiesExperience as legal director of EU countries.Experience in EU & US business culture & customs. Familiarity with US GAAP and European accounting standards.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Manage international accounting teams remotely Capabilities in Microsoft Office Package, ERP Systems (QAD, MFG Pro - an advantage)
