About The Role

The Marketing, Recruitment and International (MRI) directorate is a high performing team that is responsible for marketing, student recruitment and admissions.

The student recruitment market is competitive and fast-moving, and we are looking for a Senior Project Officer who can deliver key projects for the directorate to cover a period of maternity leave.

Working closely with the Associate Director for Marketing and UK Student Recruitment, as well as colleagues across the university, the role holder will be responsible for delivering a portfolio of projects, with a focus on UK student recruitment, including the university's Clearing campaign.

The Senior Project Officer will be expected to engage and foster collaboration with a range of stakeholders, including professional services teams, academic staff, and the Senior Leadership Team. Applicants should be self-motivated, with excellent organisational, planning, people and communication skills.

The role is based on Singleton Campus with occasional travel to Bay campus. The post sits within the Marketing Intelligence team and reports to the Senior Project Manager.

Welsh Language Skills

The Welsh language level required for this role is Level 1 - A little. The role holder will be able to pronounce Welsh words, answer the phone in Welsh (good morning/afternoon) and use very basic everyday words and phrases (thank you, please etc.). Level 1 can be reached by completing a 1 hour course.
