About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Audit Executive to join our team, responsible for overseeing a significant number of audit jobs. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring deadlines are met and all activities are compliant with relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive audit planning memoranda to ensure effective execution of audit projects.
  • Allocate sections to junior staff, providing guidance and supervision to ensure successful completion of audit tasks.
  • Address queries throughout the audit process, ensuring timely resolution and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor job progress and budgets, providing regular updates to management and stakeholders.
  • Sign off on audit sections, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Complete necessary documentation, including drafting letters to clients regarding audit/accounts.

Requirements

  • ACA or ACCA fully qualified with practice experience.
  • 3+ years of auditing experience, with a strong focus on compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in audit planning and completion, with experience in supervising and mentoring junior staff.
  • Strong computer skills, including familiarity with Sage, Excel, Word, and ideally CaseWare (accounts and audit) and tax software.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to interact effectively in diverse environments.
  • Exceptional organisational abilities to handle a variety of tasks, with a client-focused mindset and commercial awareness.
  • Strong team-building and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work well under pressure.
