As an Associate ESG Analyst, you will contribute to developing climate and ESG data strategies, improving digital and reporting processes, preparing sustainability disclosures, and responding to our customers' requests. You will

also collaborate with SHI and external stakeholders to develop strategy, improve operations and performance,

and deliver key initiatives on themes like climate, circularity, and DEI. As a key member of the small and

ambitious ESG team, you will help to raise awareness on ESG with content creation, coordinating webinars

and events, monitoring and sharing ESG-related industry trends

Including but not limited to
Climate and ESG data strategy: Assist in understanding and mapping of ESG disclosure requirements coming from regulation (CSRD, country disclosure requirements), voluntary initiatives like CDP and Ecovadis, customer surveys and requestsDigital and reporting process improvement: Leverage the potential of existing digital tools for ESG reporting, identify gaps and automation opportunities as our ESG reporting gets more formalised, complicated and broader in scope.GHG inventory and sustainability disclosures: Contribute to the preparation of climate sustainability disclosures in line with an agreed scope, including liaising with data owners to collect data, data consolidation, calculations, analysis and quality controlPolicy development: Support the creation and refinement of policies related to sustainability and ESG, ensuring alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements.Engagement and communication: Collaborate with various departments to promote ESG initiatives, develop communication strategies, and engage stakeholders effectively.ESG strategy and key initiatives: Work with different departments to to inform strategy and programmes on climate, circularity, and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), taking into accountvarious transparency frameworks and standards, customer and partner expectations and SHI's capabilities.
ESG subject matter knowledge/experience: 1-2 years of professional experience and/or Master's degree in relevant ESG subjects, including Environmental Management, Sustainable Finance, Climate Change and Carbon Accounting, Circular Economy, Social Impact.
Collaborative approach: Willing to share knowledge and learn from others, identify and pursue opportunities for win-win collaboration with other SHI teams and stakeholders, contribute positively to team dynamics.Strong communication skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, essential for engaging with various stakeholders, attention to detail.Strong analytical and numerical skills: Ability to deal with multiple, unstructured sources of data, aggregate and calculate ESG indicators, make projections and draw meaningful insights.Growth mindset: 'can do' attitude, positivity and willingness to embrace change and adaptability, ability to spot opportunities and drop them when things do not go as planned.
