About the Role

MFS Investment Management is seeking a highly skilled ESG Research Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our investment team, you will play a critical role in conducting rigorous, security-level analysis to identify financially material ESG risks and opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with analysts, portfolio managers, and other investment professionals to develop a nuanced understanding of ESG risks and opportunities.
  • Conduct in-depth research on ESG topics, including climate change, human rights, and governance.
  • Develop and maintain ESG integration frameworks for fixed income sub-asset classes.
  • Communicate ESG research and stewardship activity to clients and external parties.
  • Represent MFS in various sustainability organizations and initiatives.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in an investment role with 5-10 years of ESG and fixed income experience.
  • CFA or MBA preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with a diverse group of individuals.
  • Strong analytical and project management skills.
  • Ability to work creatively and independently.
  • Demonstrated interest in sustainability.
