My client is a Development Finance Institution focused on the Sustainable and Impact sector. They are seeking an ESG Reporting analyst to join the team.

The position is an Analyst/Associate level role within the E&S team. Level to be determined based on candidate experience and the interview process.

The successful candidate will report to the E&S Risk & Policy Manager and would need to work closely with all E&S team members including our sector leads and technical subject matter experts, as well as the recently formed Data and Insights team at the Impact Group level.

Primary responsibilities involve the management of ESG data, management and assurance of all internal and external ESG reporting requirements, including external disclosures.

The successful candidate would also need to work cross functionally with a number of other additional teams including Business Integrity, Risk, Compliance, Global Affairs and Communications to successfully deliver on the role.


Responsibilities:
ESG reporting and data management

Manage the timely production and delivery of the team's internal reporting requirements including the development of the various E&S quarterly monitoring reports, inputs into the quarterly CEO management report, and inputs into the quarterly Board and Shareholder report

Work closely with the Impact Group's Analytics and Insights team, Technology team and Change Management Team to support streamlining of ESG data collection, management and technological solutions and represent the team needs accordingly


Work cross-functionally to trouble shoot internal procedures and processes which impact the timely production of ESG reports and be the primary contact to respond to reporting related queries.


The ideal candidate will have:

  • Prior experience and knowledge working on ESG reporting within a financial institution.
  • Proficiency and knowledge of ESG data collection, ability to draw trends from data, data management and verification
  • Advance proficiency in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Word
  • Problem solving and proactive attitude to improving processes to support operational efficiencies.
  • Willingness to learn and to keep abreast of new standards, regulations and trends in the continuously evolving ESG landscape.
  • Understanding of ESG standards and reporting frameworks (IFC Performance Standards, SFDR, ISSB, UK SDR desired)
  • Proven experience working crossfunctionally to support operational efficiency and improve the management of ESG reporting.
