Accurate administration and control of Groups & event bookings for the hotel.
Take enquiries for Meeting, Events, Weddings & Groups and convert them into sales.

Actively seeks when available, to interact with existing, potential, and new clients by show rounds and participation in fam trips.

Adhere to the policy regarding the enquiry handling and issuing and return of contracts.
Ensure that all Meetings, Events, Weddings & Groups files are kept updated.
Maintain good diary management to maximize on all sales opportunities.
Ensure that all final details, payments, and requests are co-ordinated and finalised prior to events taking place.
Adhere to all company credit policies to ensure that all revenue expected will be received.
Maximise room hire potential throughout the year through a targeted seasonal approach.
To identify new business leads which can be passed on to the Director of Sales.
Ensure a high level of product knowledge of this hotel and of competitor set activities.
To communicate to the Events Manager any information that may impact the profitability.

Follow-up with guests to determine satisfaction, in order to measure results and establish strategies to improve the quality of the guest experience.

Systems experience of Opera PMS / S&C
Eligible to work in the UK
Experienced in the sales and management of events

Preferred:
Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise tasks
A warm and genuine individual who enjoys putting people first
A strong team player who is willing to be hands on but also able to work on their own initiative to get things done
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Customer service and quality-focused with a keen attention to detail
Someone who wants to grow and develop within the company
