An exciting opportunity has opened up for a Contracts Manager to join a well-established construction company based in the Exeter area on a permanent basis.

As the Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and delivering multiple construction projects, which will include refurbishments, commercial new builds, extensions, and projects ranging up to £5 million.

This role is ideal for experienced Project Managers looking to take the next step in their career.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide regular project performance reports, ensuring to include a comprehensive monthly report
  • Manage multiple site teams efficiently and effectively
  • Contribute valuable information for tender submissions
  • Ensure contracts are delivered within specified conditions and timelines
  • Supervise Senior Site Managers and their teams, offering support, guidance, and leadership
  • Offer pre-construction and pre-contract advice to facilitate smooth site operations

Skills:

  • Proficient in using Microsoft 365 and Excel
  • Familiarity with a variety of contract types
  • Strong organizational and planning abilities
  • Thorough understanding of Health and Safety regulations
  • Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Knowledge of construction materials, building components, and regulations
  • Hold SMSTS, relevant CSCS card, and First Aid at Work certification
  • Possess a valid driving license
  • A DBS check will be required for this role
