This role is essential in ensuring that we are optimally positioned to capitalize on market opportunities that align with our business objectives. The position will be based in our southwest region, where we handle civil engineering projects with values reaching up to £15 million.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct the tender pipeline to ensure that resources are effectively allocated, positioning Taylor Woodrow for success in targeted submissions.
  • Establish and maintain the Customer Relationship Management database, collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure effective engagement and communication.
  • Supervise the collection and preparation of bid-related documentation, including CVs, contract summaries, social value reports, and the aggregation and presentation of social and environmental metrics.
  • Manage the tender governance process and coordinate tender approval meetings.
  • Support the estimating team in preparing subcontractor tender packages and managing subcontractor responses.
  • Ensure comprehensive client feedback is obtained on both successful and unsuccessful tenders, sharing key insights with the broader team.
  • Facilitate Client Post-Tender Award Meetings to efficiently initiate the pre-commencement phase for successful tenders.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with the Client Team throughout the pre-commencement phase to ensure effective engagement.
  • Conduct post-contract completion review meetings, capturing feedback relevant to the pre-commencement phase and integrating this into future processes.
  • Ensure the delivery team is well-prepared for success by managing the handover process and assisting with initial contract planning.

Candidate Profile

  • Demonstrated experience in the construction sector, particularly in highways.
  • Knowledge of pre-construction processes, bid management, and estimating.
  • Proven success in developing and executing business transformation initiatives is advantageous.
  • Possession of a full UK driving license.

This position offers a hybrid work model, allowing for up to two days of remote work each week.
