Position Summary
We have an exciting opportunity for a HR Business Partner to join our Buxton Factory and Distribution Centre. As the Senior HRBP for the site and a member of the Factory Leadership Team, you will play a pivotal role in leading the development and execution of the People plan. Your key areas of focus will include understanding the future and current employee relations landscape, taking key insights to develop proactive plans which will support the improvement of employee engagement, manager capability and deliver a high performing, supportive and inclusive culture.
This role will provide the flexibility and autonomy of getting to the heart of people issues, working to develop fit for purpose solutions with a continuous improvement mentality.

A day in the life of a HR Business Partner at our Buxton Factory
This role offers a real opportunity to contribute to the development and delivery of the HR strategy from day one.
- Lead, support and enable the successful execution of the HR strategy
- Act as a key member of the Factory Leadership Team, business partnering, coaching and challenging key leaders to drive performance and culture development
- Engage with site Operations leaders to prioritise key initiatives that will step change engagement levels, including a key role in driving a respectful and inclusive culture
- Act as a key point of contact for employee relations, supporting the site to ensure the appropriate resolution is achieved in a timely manner
- Ensure our performance and talent management activities are understood, embedded and delivered, supporting our people and the factory to deliver against the business's goals
- Be a key driver in upskilling our line manager capability, specifically around our people's development
- Support on organisational transformation and change projects, which support the journey to high performing Operations
- Work in collaboration with site Trade Union representatives, and as part of the broader Operations HR BP team
What will make you Successful?
You'll need to be able to have a proven track record of working within an HR role delivering tangible outcomes that make a real difference to the business.
You will also;
- Have solid operational HR experience across the core HR processes (performance management, talent management, recruitment & resourcing, employee relations, organisational change)
- Be able to analyse and translate HR data
- Have working knowledge of UK Employment Legislation
- Experience of complex case management
- Ideally have worked in a manufacturing or other 'blue collar' environment
- Have worked with and built excellent relationships with Trade Union Representatives
