Job Summary
Morgan Ryder is seeking an experienced HR professional to join our team as an HR Advisor. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a vital role in shaping company culture and ensuring the success of our employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Employee Relations: Provide support to managers and supervisors in investigations, disciplinaries, grievances, absenteeism, and flexible working applications. Deputise for the HR Manager as and when required.
- Shape Company Culture: Collaborate with the HR Manager and leadership teams to develop and implement new HR policies and long-term business improvement projects.
- Drive Compliance & Audit: Ensure compliance with GDPR regulations, complete audits, and maintain accurate records on our systems.
- Training & Development: Support managers with site-wide training programs, maintain the annual training plan, and communicate any changes to employment law or company policies. Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and inductions for new starters.
- Payroll: Provide support with payroll processing activities and manage any enquiries.
Requirements
- Experience as a HR Advisor/Generalist/Business Partner in a unionised environment.
- CIPD qualified or significant industry experience.
- Passionate about HR, driving change, and fostering a positive work environment.
- Union experience – essential.
- Manufacturing experience – preferred.
- Confident and willing to challenge the norm and drive improvement initiatives.
