We have an exciting opportunity for a Contract & Supplier Manager to join our team to support the Student System Programme. The role involves liaison within the programme team to support identifying requirements and ensure compliant purchasing of goods and service alongside our Procurement and Legal colleagues.
One of the main duties is to manage the daily recruitment needs for the programme, which will include collating candidate CV's, interviews, and feedback. Supporting the compliant purchasing of consultancy services and Student System provisions, working closely with key supplier and the Programme to maximise value and support delivery of the programme.
We also require the Contract Manager to write and develop SharePoint pages and Contract Management processes, procedure and identify for opportunities to streamline workloads within the team and improve Contract Management processes.
This is a fast-paced environment and will require flexible approach and understanding that things may change daily, you will never be bored and will be challenged.
About you:
You will have excellent technical and communication skills, with the ability to manage your own workload. You will be a positive and proactive problem solver with the ability to manage a mixture of planned and reactive requirements at the same time to ensure that work is delivered on time and to a high standard. You will be a strong team player, but also be self-sufficient and able to work independently.
You'll bring experience of working in a contract specifically in Technology and Portfolio, environment building and sustaining partnerships. You'll have the ability to think strategically, plan effectively, and manage productive partnerships with external suppliers and working within UK Public Contract Regulations
