The Procurement Heads are partnering with a market leading insurance company to support the appointment of an Indirect Sourcing Manager. This is a newly created role, leading on the management and delivery of key sourcing activities and contract negotiations to deliver strong commercial outcomes specifically across IT and wider Business Services.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and contribute to category and sub-category strategies for IT Business Services spend in line with department objectives.
  • Drive maximum and market leading commercial value from sourcing exercises and negotiations.
  • Develop strong relationships with senior management and supplier relationship managers to quickly understand requirements, priorities and challenges.
  • Guide, advise and coach key stakeholders and assurance functions on all aspects of Procurement (S2P) and ensure adherence to relevant policies and governance processes.

Requirements

  • A deep understanding of IT procurement is desirable.
  • Experience of managing Corporate/Professional Services categories.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • A proven track record of highly developed commercial and contract negotiation skills.
