    St John Ambulance works at the heart of communities, supporting and enabling them to access and receive physical and mental health first aid. We do this through developing and providing effective community response and outreach services (e.g. Ambulance response, Falls response, Night Time Economy and Homelessness outreach) and using our longstanding expertise to empower people with vital clinical skills and the confidence to use them (e.g. our Volunteers and Community Advocates, NHS Cadets and Young Responders programmes). There is also a buoyant social enterprise network which delivers first aid training and supplies medical consumables to businesses and consumers.

    Job Summary

    This role plays a vital part in delivering sales growth to meet the annual financial targets of the Sales and Business Development Commercial Workplace Training & Supplies Teams. The key objective is to build long term sustainable relationships with our National Account customers and to develop existing customers to drive growth and achieve sales revenue targets in both First Aid and Health & Safety markets for both Training and Supplies.

    About You

    To be successful in this role, you need to be educated to GCSE level or equivalent (Grade C or 4) including Maths & English, Experience of building rapport & developing sustainable relationships in a B2B environment with major corporate customers, demonstrate experience to win, retain and grow new customers in a face to face environment.

    About the Role

    • Proactively maintain and build positive relationships resulting in St John Ambulance being the preferred supplier of first aid and health & safety products and services, including preparing and conducting business reviews, making presentations, working to the renewal process, responding to customer issues.
    • Responding to inbound new business to convert to sale and working with the bid team on pre-tender pipeline building and responses to tender opportunities.
    • Contribute to the overall achievement of the National Accounts team for both workplace revenue and commercial supplies.
