National Account Manager

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced National Account Executive to join our team in the UK. As a key member of our commercial business, you will be responsible for growing our premium spirits portfolio across the region, with a focus on whiskey specialists.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of key accounts, developing and executing strategies to drive sales growth and brand awareness.
- Work closely with our commercial marketing team to bring brand plans to life in the market.
- Collaborate with other functions, such as finance and operations, to ensure seamless delivery against agreed KPIs and targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and preferences to drive commercial performance.
- Develop and execute promotional plans, including new product launches and key times of the year.
Requirements:
- Significant sales/commercial experience (5 years+) in the premium spirits industry.
- Awareness and understanding of the complexities of the market and how to drive commercial performance without compromising brand equity or provenance.
- Experience working in commercial within FMCG, with demonstrable previous involvement of working with specialist retail outlets.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate category insights to develop compelling growth plans.
- Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to identify new opportunities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation skills, and negotiation and account management skills.
- Passion for the drinks industry and unique and rare whisky.
