Sub-Segment Manager

Job Purpose

You will support sales growth by creating a sub-segment plan and oversee strategic marketing activities as well as develop customer, competitor and market insights to support the development of winning value propositions & concepts.

Job Responsibilities


• Collaborate with colleagues on campaign activities to drive industry leading customer demand for our products, services & brands.

• Develop a thorough understanding of needs within the sub-segment to create implement needs-based segmentation models through close co-operation with regions.

• Translate SMU vision, policies, services package, training plans, market research & customer specifications to sub-segment.

• Collaborate with colleagues to implement the strategic marketing agenda.

• Produce content relating to value proposition & models business cases.

• Monitor effectiveness of marketing activity.

Job Requirements


• Degree in Marketing, Chemistry, Engineering or equivalent professional experience.

• Extensive experience within sales & marketing with high level of customers interaction.

• Effective at developing insight & concepts.

• Excellent communication, project management & interpersonal skills.

• Commercially astute.

• Enjoys a collaborative working environment where supporting colleagues is key.
