We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to lead our team at a Children's Home in the vibrant city of Nottingham.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a leadership position within a residential home accredited by Ofsted, specifically focusing on Emotional and Behavioral difficulties.

Preference will be given to candidates with an NVQ Level 5 qualification in relevant subjects or those willing to pursue this certification.

Effective communication skills are essential, along with the ability to cultivate constructive relationships with both your team and external professionals working with the children.

A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for work-related purposes are mandatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with OFSTED regulations and company policies in managing the home.
  • Safeguard the children's well-being both on-site and off-site.
  • Prioritize the individual needs of each child, advocating for their rights and providing necessary support.
  • Serve as designated Safeguarding Lead and promptly address safeguarding concerns.
  • Provide strong leadership and mentorship to your team members.
  • Maintain up-to-date staff schedules, training, and supervision records.
  • Establish and nurture positive relationships with parents, social workers, and other stakeholders.
  • Adhere to relevant legislation and quality standards, promoting a safe environment for all.
  • Engage with regulatory bodies and independent visitor programs.
  • Ensure timely completion of all documentation related to children, staff, and the facility.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation with management colleagues.

Working hours typically fall on weekdays from 9am to 5pm, subject to flexibility based on service needs.

On-call duties will be shared among the management team.

Salary will be commensurate with experience and is negotiable.
