Key Responsibilities:

  1. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure full compliance with Ofsted regulations, leading inspections and implementing necessary improvements.
  2. Leadership: Provide strong leadership to the staff team, fostering a positive working environment and overseeing recruitment and training.
  3. Child-Centered Care: Guarantee that children receive the highest standard of care and develop individualized care plans.
  4. Quality Assurance: Maintain systems for monitoring care quality, conducting audits, and implementing improvements.
  5. Communication: Establish effective communication with external agencies, families, and professionals involved in the children's lives.
  6. Financial Management: Efficiently manage the budget for the children's home, ensuring resources are allocated effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or equivalent.
  • Significant experience in a management role within a residential childcare environment.
  • Proven success in Ofsted inspections and compliance.
  • Strong understanding of relevant legislation governing children's homes.
