City of London United Kingdom Skillsearch Limited Full time

Skillsearch is helping a games studio in London find an experienced Release Manager. This full-time role is based in London and comes with a generous salary and benefits.

As a Release Manager, you will own and manage the release process, delivering near-weekly patches to a cross-platform live service game on PC and consoles. You will work closely with producers, engineers, designers, QA and company leadership to develop a release management process that ensures the company can develop and adapt quickly.

In your first few weeks in this Release Manager role, you can expect to:

  • Refine and adjust the current release management process to support the transition from PC Early Access into Cross-Platform Open Beta later this year
  • Own the release scheduling, coordination and certification processes required to ship regular updates
  • Work with Build Engineers to track and maintain a healthy build pipeline to support continuous integration and testing
  • Track critical player issues post-release, working closely with varied teams to identify, escalate and solve the most impactful cases
  • Act as a key point of contact to resolve issues raised during development.
To apply for this Release Manager role, you will need prior experience in Release Management and/or Live Production on a product with regular content and feature deliveries. You will also require the following:
  • The ability to contextualise individual issues to broader business and player impact, and triage that impact against other priorities and goals
  • Experience with common CI/CD tooling and practices
  • Knowledge of Unreal Engine 5 is a plus.
If you're looking to impact and create change positively, you'll be rewarded with an excellent salary and benefits package for your inclusive and committed approach, including 33 days of holiday inclusive of bank holidays, stock options healthcare packages and more

Please reach out to Wade from our team at today to apply for this full-time Release Manager position in London. We'd love to help you get your next role and enable you to fulfil your professional ambitions.
