Our Purpose

Registrar & Civic Services are recruiting a Mayoral & Town Hall support officer to support and enhance civic life by providing exemplary support for mayoral and civic functions, ensuring the smooth and dignified execution of official duties for the First Citizen of the Borough.

Your Role

Your day to day entails co-ordinating and managing the programme of civic activities and functions, in addition to, providing administrative support to the Mayor and Deputy Mayor for their civic duties. You will be the first point of contact for internal and external customers entering the Grimsby Town Hall, offering assistance and guidance.

Working along side the Communications Team, you will be researching and preparing press and social medias releases relating to civic events. Further to this, you will be processing civic correspondence and publicity for the Mayor.

About You

You will have experience in an office environment and be able to assist with delivery of events, functions and meetings. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and confidence in public speaking.
