We are currently working with a major global manufacturer of commercial floorcoverings, who supply flooring solutions to various sectors including healthcare, specialist care, education, office, leisure and social housing.

Our client has an exciting opportunity for an Environmental & Sustainability professional to join their UK team, to lead the Energy, Environmental & Sustainability process, accreditations and reporting activities for the Group.

The Environmental & Sustainability Manager will be responsible for:

  • Maintain a clear understanding of all relevant current & upcoming legislation & regulation.
  • Monitor and drive the processes and outputs in the business, ensuring that we meet and exceed our sustainability goals, both mandatory and self-generated.
  • Gather, monitor & analyse data to feed the reporting process
  • Business reporting – SECR, ESOS, TCFD, SDS, Annual report, Sustainability Reports
  • Engage with Industry, Trade or Government bodies to shape future standards & legislation

The Environmental & Sustainability Manager will have:

  • Genuine passion for environmental & sustainability matters – Understand current & future issues, how they affect the business and how to prepare the business for them.
  • Proven & demonstrable industrial experience in managing, monitoring & reporting in this area
  • Strong experience in managing partners to build trusted external relationships and to establish & grow value and gravitas with internal colleagues
