Assessment Social Worker

Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, United Kingdom Leaders in Care Full time

Good Ofsted | Low caseload | Hybrid working | 5*Google reviews

Are you a social worker looking for a new opportunity to release the stress that's been building in your current role?

I think we can all agree that the pressures in frontline roles have passed its threshold and quitting the sector completely may seem like your only way of counteracting the strain.

An opportunity has arisen in a small council within the East Midlands to join their assessment team for £39 per hour. As this is the only assessment team within the service you will be joining a very close team with an experienced manager who has been with the council for a number of years.

Cases are very manageable, as your caseload will average 10 children with a max of 14, this will give you give you a chance to develop a relationship with the family that you may not normally get when working in an assessment team holding double the caseload.

Hybrid working is encouraged, as the manager is looking for a good worker who can hit the ground running and be left to their devices. You will be on duty twice a week and will be asked to attend their monthly team meeting in the office.

Leaders in Care have also received 460 5* Google reviews – this means weekly check-ins, support on your placement, and a market-leading timesheet & payroll system that means Fridays are no longer a stress of refreshing your bank to see if your money is coming

As this is a statutory role, you do require a social work qualification & registration to Social Work England.
