The Role: Support Worker
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Support Workers at The Manor, a residential care home for 22 people with physical disabilities.
As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing person-centered care and support to our residents. You will assist them with daily living tasks, such as personal care, medication administration, and mealtimes. You will also accompany them on outings and appointments, ensuring their safety and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assistance with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and bathing.
- Administer medication as prescribed and monitor residents' health and well-being.
- Prepare and serve meals, ensuring dietary requirements are met.
- Accompany residents on outings and appointments, providing support and assistance.
- Create a positive and supportive environment for residents, promoting their independence and social interaction.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
