Key Responsibilities- Provide psychologically informed support and interventions to individuals with mental health problems, including those with a history of trauma.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including clinical psychologists, counsellors, and social workers, to develop and deliver individualized care plans.
- Deliver and teach psychological skills, including anxiety management, low mood, graded exposure, and coping with voices.
- Support individuals to make their own choices and identify recovery goals, using empowerment skills.
- Contribute to the development of referral guidelines and exclusion/inclusion criteria for clients who may benefit from our services.
- Identify when clients require interventions from other services and initiate timely onward referrals.
- Support the development of brief psychological interventions and templates for formulation-driven support.
- Effectively communicate verbally with clients, carers, and colleagues, using motivational interviewing skills and adapting communication style as needed.
- Clinical experience of working with individuals with mental health problems, including those with a history of trauma.
- Experience of supporting service users in problem-solving, grading tasks, and structuring daily routines.
- Clinical experience of working as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- High-level communication skills, including the ability to communicate in settings with high emotional intensity.
