Permanent Role

The Aga Khan University (International) in the United Kingdom (AKU UK) is recruiting for an Executive Assistant to the Dean on a permanent, full-time basis. The position holder will provide administrative support for the Dean's Office in an operational capacity. Supporting all aspects of work within the Dean's Office, acting as the secretary for the Dean and Senior Management Team meetings. They will also be the first point of contact for the Dean's Office and be contactable on phone/email outside normal working hours, as required, to answer queries from university leadership and other senior colleagues from the Aga Khan Development Network.

The ideal candidate will have an undergraduate degree and relevant experience in a similar role, preferably within Higher Education.

AKU UK is based in London, UK, and is a leading, non-denominational, research-focused institution focused on the study of Muslim cultures and contexts across the diverse Muslim societies of the world, past and present. It is part of the Aga Khan University (AKU) which is an international institution of academic excellence operating in six countries and guided by the principles of impact, quality, relevance, and access. The incumbent will work with a dynamic and culturally diverse group of staff and students in a welcoming and supportive environment that embraces pluralism, demands excellence, and encourages leadership, teamwork, intellectual curiosity, debate and direct engagement with real-world problems.
