The role

As an Accounts Payable Assistant on a fixed term contract, you will be responsible for all aspects of sales and purchase ledgers, as well as cashbook and staff timesheets in accordance with company procedures and quality policies.


Ensure that all work is undertaken to the highest quality and professionalism in accordance with the company financial policies and procedures.

Ensure that all activities are carried out with the highest regard to the health and safety of all involved and to the protection of the environment and prevention of pollution.

Post invoices, check coding, VAT and sending invoices for approval when appropriate.
Accurate and timely posting of information to the ledgers.
Reconciliation of bank accounts and normal ledger control accounts.
Ad hoc reports for Senior Financial Accountant/Financial Controller.
Payment runs and Bank Transfers
Dealing with supplier quires and statement reconciliations.
