Group Financial Controller

We are seeking candidates with experience within a Private Equity environment that are eager to join a successful business where they can gain experience, grow with the company and grab new opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Take over day to day management of wider finance team as no.2 with a number of direct reports.Coordinate, own & evolve the financial reporting cycles including monthly reporting & forward forecasting in particular - understand the PE reporting requirements around dashboards, run rates, forecasts etcCoordinate & own Cashflow forecasting in particular & oversee the workstreams/inputs to deliver accurate forecasting weekly & monthly.Demonstrably operationally excellent in context of how a finance function should be working & its use of respective software.Support CFO on various ad-hoc projectsAttend meetings on behalf of finance team & brief/coordinate the wider team on their actions required etcContinuous improvement attitude to achieve a best-in-class finance function & able to demonstrate a roadmap & a plan to get there
Qualifications
Qualified accountant with a solid technical understanding of accounting principles and practices. Ideally Big 4 trained (ACA).Experience within a PE environment is desirable, preferably within a consumer focussed industry sector.PE exit experience is desirable, but not essential.Experience in financial planning, budgeting, and cash flow management.Track record of process improvement and implementing effective financial controls.
