Business Development Team Manager at Sysco
Hybrid work model allowing 1-2 days remote work and the rest on-site
Must be able to commute to the Tamworth office
Annual Salary: £30,426, OTE £50,000
We're looking for an Office-based Team Manager to join the Desk Based New Business BDM team in our Tamworth office.
As a Brakes Team Manager, you'll lead and motivate a team of New Business Development Managers.
You will be responsible for recruiting, developing, and managing your team, fostering a culture of empowerment to seize every sales and service opportunity.
Acting as the main communication link, you will ensure effective information flow within your team.
What you'll be doing:
- Directly managing and motivating a team of 12-15 Desk Based BDM's for optimal development
- Assisting the Inside Sales Manager in executing the department's strategic plan and participating in relevant projects
- Identifying and managing pipeline opportunities to enhance revenue and customer satisfaction
- Inspiring team participation in incentives, process enhancements, and goal clarity
- Engaging in strategic planning, coaching, training, and meeting KPI metrics
What we are looking for:
- Experience as a team manager or supervisor, preferably in a contact centre, with a proven new business onboarding record
- Confidence, self-motivation, commercial acumen, and customer-centric approach
- Strong communication, influencing, and negotiation skills
- Excellent planning, organization, and prioritization abilities in a deadline-driven environment
