What you'll do

Your key accountabilities will include

  • Manage ongoing stock planning including; production planning / management including intake planning and supplier capacity booking and ongoing capacity negotiations
  • Provide reporting on supplier performance against KPIs
  • Raise orders and set up POs with suppliers
  • Give shipment approval and have oversight that containers are packed efficiently
  • Manage tracking of critical path with suppliers from order to port and hand-off to SC to manage freight forwarder
  • Manage promotional and clearance markdown
  • Manage in-season and exit trading - corrective action to deviations from sales and stock targets. Work with Merchandiser to work through In season sales and trade reporting. Manage stock analysis and reporting
  • Coordinate stock allocation to stores (allocation and replenishment executed through D&F)
  • Take full ownership for: detailed bottom-up budgeting, promotional and Clearance Markdown management, In-Season Trading and exit decisions and intake and volume plan (quantities / rates

Who you are

Your skills and experience will include

  • Working to at least Senior Merchandise Admin Assistant level with a major retailer with a passion for Homeware
  • Technical knowledge of the end to end buy to store process
  • Experience of using the relevant IT support systems, (Range Planner, SSI, SAS Reporting, JDA Merch Planning)
  • Strong numerical, analytical and interpretive skills
  • Ability to initiate and build strong relationships with Design, Buying and Technology
  • Good understanding of Buying - proposition development and range building
  • Highly organised approach and commitment to closing and completing tasks
  • Strong communication and influencing skill
