Job Title: Procurement Technology Manager

Salary: £70,000+

What you'll be doing:

  • Supporting a BAE Systems wide strategy to modernise IT through delivering the next generation IT Outsourcing model and arrangements
  • Reviewing existing IT Services contract schedules and document detailed commercial process for managing exit from incumbent providers
  • Establishing and managing forums for exit commercially related processes, document outcomes and govern the performance of suppliers through exit
  • Reporting internally on risks, costs and impacts of exit processes and plans to senior level stakeholders
  • Identifying new significant suppliers for onboarding, requiring specific transition activity
  • Supporting internal change teams from a commercial perspective on ensuring performance to plan for transition and exit processes
  • Travelling across the UK to engage with suppliers and stakeholders as needed

Your skills and experiences:

  • Proven understanding of IT, IT Services and Outsourcing contracts
  • Experience of managing Exit of complex contracts

The Procurement team:

Joining a well-established IT Services Procurement team, you will be building a network within BAE through both internal and external channels, with exposure to key suppliers and a wide range of senior stakeholders across the BAE Systems Enterprise. You will have responsibility for the contractual exit and or transition of contracted Services from our incumbent IT Service Providers to new providers. This is an exciting role, at the heart of a major transformation programme for BAE Systems and offers significant opportunity for growth and development.
