Head of Asset -

Position: Head of Asset Management

Location: Bromley Area

Salary: 62,540.00 p.a. Plus Benefits

Job Type: Permanent, Full time

Key Duties:

Formulate and proactively maintain the Company Asset Management Plan (AMP) with all works prioritised

Lead the delivery of all capital investment projects including the Investment Fund in Bromley

Manage supplier agreements to ensure clear communication channels are in place to ensure the relationship with vendors will strengthen our company's overall performance through increased efficiencies, reduced costs and improved customer service

Act as the Company's lead manager in its property dealing with Clients

Devise a corporate Design Guide to ensure the Mytime Active brand is delivered within all investments

Lead on energy conservation and environmental policies and strategies designed to reduce consumption and mitigate increases in costs through strong and effective internal housekeeping coupled with judicious investment

Audit and assess the performance of technical staff as measured against the Company's requirements and industry-wide recognised performance standards

Responsible for the line management of all personnel contained within the Asset Management Team or as defined

Proactively manage out insurance claims process to mitigate against any losses for Mytime Active

Establishing clear procurement processes to ensure the maximum commercial return for Mytime Active

Ensure full compliance with all contractual responsibilities

Ensure the ensure delivery of all targets and KPI's

Continuously improve the operational delivery, quality of service and products to the consumer, including implementing and embedding new and existing processes and systems from finance, people, product, well-being or business development

Ensure effective company-wide asset management

Initiate and drive a healthy and ambitious capital investment programme, including build and refurbishment of facilities, which in turn delivers our corporate strategy

Support the development of our corporate wide Quality Management Systems and associated processes

Lead the drive towards company-wide accreditations, ensuring they are appropriate and add value

Drive quality standards and assurance across all the operational businesses

Lead the employees in the Asset Management Team effectively, so they are highly engaged and high performing

Manage, develop and co-ordinate staff resources effectively to meet all operational requirements and to create a dynamic, innovative and responsive team through open communication and leadership

Develop, maintain and evolve excellent relations with existing Clients and stakeholders

Continuously improve the company's image and credibility with all stakeholders

Take responsibility for the management of health and safety and environmental management for Mytime Active

Be technically able and play a proactive role in securing new business for Mytime Active

Prepare a range of management information as required

Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility and all employees are required to act in such a way that at all times safeguards the health and well being of children and vulnerable adults.

Undertake any other duties as reasonably required by the Operations Director.

Experience & Knowledge:

Significant experience in driving high performance across a technical service to meet commercial and key business targets

Experience of procurement procedures and securing best value

Experience of developing cost estimates and project budgets

Experience of mitigating against losses through a lesson's learnt approach to insurance claims

Experience of maximising commercial returns through identifying and delivering on capital investment opportunities

Experience of interpreting strategic organisational priorities and translating these into operational reality, ensuring alignment and buy- in from all levels of the organisation

Excellent knowledge of health and safety legislation

QUALIFICATIONS

The post holder will be educated to degree level or equivalent in a relevant discipline

Minimum of 5 years' experience in a multi-site / contract senior facilities management role

Industry recognised qualifications in project management, health and safety or trade services would be desirable but not essential

The post holder will be able to provide evidence of continuing professional development
