This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking for flexible working during school term time. Our team of Cover Supervisors support students in the classroom when teachers are unavailable.

The Role

To provide supervision in the classroom during the short-term absence of a teacher, whilst students undertake work set by the teacher. The primary focus is to maintain behaviour standards and to keep students on task.

Hours of work

As bank Cover Supervisor you will be on a zero hours contract with work offered during term time, depending on operational requirements. You decide when you are available to work. We do ask that you could work a minimum of two days a week on average.

The successful candidate will

Be an organised, team player who can work collaborativelyHave a commitment to the promotion of the welfare and development of young peopleBe professional with excellent communication and administration skillsIdeally have experience of working with students in a school settingHave an awareness of ways in which the achievement of young people can be supported with the aim improve outcomesOur School

Carshalton High School for Girls, a member of the Girl's Learning Trust, is a high achieving school in the suburbs of south London. Confirmed as "Good" by Ofsted in January 2023, we achieved our best exam results to date in Summer 2023.
