Pye Green Academy is a large primary school located in Cannock, Staffordshire. We pride ourselves on having high expectations for all, a family of supportive staff and a strong inclusive community. We are looking for an outstanding teacher to join our excellent team.

We are looking for individuals who are:

  • Independent, flexible, adaptable and reflective in their practice
  • Knowledgeable and have an understanding of a range of strategies that will ensure the progress of children with differing needs, including, but not limited to, autism, specific learning difficulties and trauma-induced behaviours
  • Committed to having high expectations of what children can achieve
  • Able to liaise effectively with staff and contribute to assessment for learning
  • Able and willing to work in a team and contribute to the wider life of the school in a caring, professional manner
  • Experience of the Read, Write, Inc. phonics programme
