The Brewood and Wheaton Aston Federation are seeking to employ an enthusiastic, dedicated and passionate English Teacher to join our team. You will be responsible for delivering lessons in line with relevant curriculum requirements, ensuring high standards of teaching and the enjoyment of learning are maintained, in order to sustain and raise class achievement.

Our academy was inspected by OFSTED in March 2024 and was judged to be a Good school. Inspectors commented that 'Pupils are happy at Brewood Middle School and many describe it as being like a 'family'.'

They also said that 'pupils understand the importance of treating each other with respect' and 'Pupils at Brewood Middle are explicitly taught the school's behaviour expectations. As a result, they are consistently polite and respectful to each other and towards visitors. Incidents of poor behaviour are very rare and handled appropriately to help pupils reflect on their choices

We are looking for someone who is an outstanding and effective classroom practitioner with a proven track record of raising standards. The successful candidate should also possess energy, enthusiasm and a desire to inspire a love of their subject. They will be an excellent communicator who can bring our exciting English curriculum to life. The ability to teach a second subject such as D&T would be desirable.
