We are seeking a dedicated and meticulous Day Controller to join our team.

The Day Controller will be responsible for planning transport for future dates and managing service resources for the current day.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient and timely transportation for all patients.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and organise transport for future dates.
  • Control ambulance service resources for the current day.
  • Ensure all patients receive timely and efficient transport services.
  • Collaborate with drivers and dispatchers to optimise transport schedules.
  • Monitor and manage daily transport operations to meet service level goals.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports related to transport planning and resource allocation.
Day-to-Day

  • Create and update transport schedules for future dates.
  • Monitor and allocate ambulance resources based on current demand.
  • Communicate with drivers, dispatchers, and healthcare facilities to coordinate transport services.
  • Analyse transport data to identify opportunities for optimisation and improvement.
  • Address any issues or discrepancies in transport planning and resource allocation.
