The Day Controller will be responsible for planning transport for future dates and managing service resources for the current day.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient and timely transportation for all patients.Responsibilities
- Plan and organise transport for future dates.
- Control ambulance service resources for the current day.
- Ensure all patients receive timely and efficient transport services.
- Collaborate with drivers and dispatchers to optimise transport schedules.
- Monitor and manage daily transport operations to meet service level goals.
- Maintain accurate records and reports related to transport planning and resource allocation.
- Create and update transport schedules for future dates.
- Monitor and allocate ambulance resources based on current demand.
- Communicate with drivers, dispatchers, and healthcare facilities to coordinate transport services.
- Analyse transport data to identify opportunities for optimisation and improvement.
- Address any issues or discrepancies in transport planning and resource allocation.
