We are seeking a dedicated Construction Tutor to join our team. As a Construction Tutor, you will be responsible for providing effective teaching, learning, and assessment for students with complex needs and behaviors. Your main duties will include:
- Teaching Construction Skills at Entry Level 3 and Level 1.
- Creating a motivating learning environment with high expectations for learner achievement.
- Planning and updating schemes of work to meet curriculum requirements.
- Utilizing various teaching strategies tailored to individual learner needs.
- Ensuring classroom discipline and safeguarding student wellbeing.
- Recognized teaching qualification (minimum Level 3).
- Extensive experience in teaching and planning.
- Occupational background in construction skills (Bricklaying, Carpentry, Electrics, Plumbing).
- Experience working with young people with complex needs.
- Knowledge of diverse teaching and behavior management strategies.
