About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Primary Tutor to join our team at Fleet Education Services. As a Primary Tutor, you will be responsible for providing high-quality tuition to learners in their own homes or schools, helping them to achieve their academic potential.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching or tutoring, with experience of working with learners who have Special Educational Needs (SEN), Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, and those who have experienced childhood trauma.

You will be responsible for creating engaging lesson plans, delivering tuition, and monitoring learner progress. You will also work closely with learners' guardians and teachers to ensure their academic success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create engaging lesson plans and deliver tuition that meets the needs of each learner.
  • Monitor learner progress and provide constructive feedback to foster continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with learners' guardians and teachers to ensure their academic success.
  • Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions and learner performance.

Requirements:

  • Hold a Bachelor's level degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 6 months UK teaching/tutoring experience.
  • Be willing to undertake a full Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and referencing process.
  • Have a commitment to safeguarding and a willingness to work with learners who have complex needs.
